Cosi is a leading national “fast-casual” restaurant that focuses on unique offerings based around its signature flatbread. Cosi operates in 16 states with 120 restaurants. Begun as a casual coffee and bar concept, serving coffee during the day and drinks in the evening, known as ‘Xando’, the company expanded to include light dining fare to accompany its drink menu and re-branded under the Cosi name.

Sandor Scher of Claro Development, joined Cosi’s Development and Construction department in 1996. In just five years the company grew to over 100 restaurants located throughout the country. Locations varied from small stores within existing retail outlets and downtown city centersto free standing buildings.

The company continues to grow its market presence today with the development of additional store locations, as well as strategic partnerships with national retailers as kiosk within their existing establishments.
