Ramon (Ray) Lastra

Experience:

Ray began his career in the field of architecture, working for firms both in Miami and Boston. His early experience primarily revolved around the development of residential structures ranging from custom single family home to high-rise multi-family structures. This work exposed him to a balance of in office design and on-the-field construction issues. His clients included Codina Development, Genesis Homes, and Heftler Holdings.

Upon completion of his architecture degree, Ray joined the firm of Zyscovich, inc in Miami. Through his experience there, he had the opportunity to focus his work on the overall development of projects along with a direct exposure to the firm’s clients needs. This process involved all phases of architectural design and project management for a variety of clients including Charles E. Smith Residential, Aimco Residential, and a number of other private developers.

Sandor Scher

Experience:

Sandor began his career on the ground floor of what would become a national restaurant chain, Cosi, with over a hundred locations throughout the northeast, mid-west, and locations as far south as South Beach in Florida. His role with the company evolved as the company grew. He held various other positions within the real estate and development departments during his eight year tenure with the company. Sandor was closely involved and / or directly responsible for the strategic planning, design, leasing, and construction of new units nationwide. He was involved with all aspects of project development including budgeting, financing, real estate procurement, design management, and construction management. His final position with the firm was as Senior Project Manager in charge of store development and operational transition.
